Sam's show flowed better because the people he had surrounding him wanted to be there talking about the same things. They actually had conversations instead of the 30-year-old host constantly being interrupted by a middle aged man doing characters with one hand on his cock and the other on a makeshift iPad soundboard.

TACS and the Jim and Sam Show have made me appreciate that Anthony Cumia is the ultimate co-host. He's really great at taking a good bit and making it better, and Anthony doesn't take anything personal.

When I listen to the Adam Carolla show, I always notice how Adam's cohosts struggle to keep up with Adam. Anthony never had that problem; he makes it look easy.

He just sucks as a first mic though.
