Sam has many shitty qualities. I will not argue that. He knows how to play along with a "bit" though. That's why when I called with the 3rd Brian Gilgore related call, I said to Keith or Rat (whoever screens calls) "I have a question for Sam about Erock" Figured Ant would take that for juicy drama... Instantly a Brian Gilgore question, I was nervous and my phone was garbled. My favorite part was Travis "Oh yeah, who would you liken him to?"
Also I'd have to double check with u/Thescarletr for his opinion, but any nervousness you feel isn't "I'm talking to celebrities" it's more like "If I foul this one up, the boys on the sub will give me a serious razzing"
Can feel the tension from something subreddit-related being brought up. Sam and Jim acknowledge us for the most part, but Ant still has PTSD from this place.
Today's show made me happy because Sam felt like he was being held hostage by the phones after a few subreddit callers got through. He was nervously letting the callers talk while obviously being ready to end the call immediately. Love it
