Any day now, Anthony will wake up from a night of drinking himself into his nightly stupor; and he'll grab a Bud Light and a Rockstar t-shirt, look out his bedroom and admire his amazing drunken parking job, with his car parked across his lawn, having plowed over that dinosaur and a Santa Claus decoration. Then he'll observe a dead, black, homeless man impaled in the front window of his car -- half inside, his legs dangling on the outside -- and wonder how it got there.
Yeah i mean they were trying to pass off his relapse on J&S as humorous, but I think Jimmy feels truly disappointed; not because he didnt come out, but that his friend couldn't sober up.
You have to imagine Jim is using Ant's substance abuse as a rationalization for still being friends with him after Ant beat up the waifish daughter of Jim's oldest business associate (not to mention the preceding codependent relationship that grossed everyone out) but yes Jim it turns out Ant was just taking the common practice of using rehab to reduce a sentence and you should feel a tremendous amount of guilt and conflict like a big boy does.

Anthony has openly admitted that he is petrified of getting high because he would get too paranoid.
What he meant by that is that he is afraid of having to be honest with himself and come face to face with the fact that he is a pissy eyed faggot. Good ol' alcohol will just shove those gay feelings deep down LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU DADDY LA LA LA!
Easiest to get, easier to control your level of intoxication, no overwhelming urge to have more when you're coming down, and it's socially acceptable as long as ng as you're not sloppy.
