You make a good point. I work on the oil patch which is full of degenerates that listen to this type of shit and I only knew of two people aware of the O&A world. One guy listened because i was always listening and the other guy used the "I like to make werewolf movies" quote one time so I knew he was likely a listener at some point. Unless he randomly found special poetry slam in his own youtube spiral.
I'm a big fan of Jim but I've never met anyone who knows who he is. The only comics people know from the show (or in general) are Louis CK and Bill Burr.

Listened to the whole show at work, literally ripped my earbuds out when this guy asked if he could go on tour with Jimmy.
Unfortunately this is why guys in good positions don't help guys from way back when. It's sad.
It bummed me out, forgot about it and came to the sub... Seen this post, and now im a little depressed again....
