Tbh I can't think of a single guest I've liked besides WHM. I love the shit out of the first half hour when it's just Jim and Sam doing a little riffin, and then turn it off about ten minutes thru the first interview.

The sports guy was Brendon Steiner. He went on O&A and O&J like twice a year, and it was always a fucking drag. He has some deal with Sirius, it seems like.

He's interesting for the first 3 minutes and they spend the rest of his paid appearance trying to remember old stories of people signing shit.

At least they don't have that shitty jeweler from the other corner of 8th and Walnut and his astonishingly shitty golden dipped roses that are obviously not roses that were dipped.

Most of their guests are shit. Either comics I've never heard of promoting their podcasts or actors that I don't care about. And their questions are never good.

I like the show a lot, but I usually only listen to the fist chunk of the show where it's just Sam and Jim.

If I know who the guests are then I'm down but I just turn it off or skip ahead until they're back to just them 2.

I expect they'll get into a groove, and get better guests. Still very early to judge.

Second of all they did try to bring the subject up again, but she politely rebuffed and they moved on. I disagree. If I were Jim and Sam I wouldn't be making the show for the old O&A nutjobs like us. We're a niche market. I'd be getting on as many mainstream celebrities as possible and creating small youtube clips to get the name out there. They're doing a good job of actually increasing their presence as a show.

Knowing Jimmy, one of these big celebs will get an attitude and Jimmy won't back down and we'll have another Nancy Grace.

This is my biggest complaint of the show.

When it started, I really hoped it was going to be O and A 2.0. I hoped we would have bobo back. I hoped we would have Ian Halperin on.

The magic of O and A was the brutality of the comics, the freakshows they brought on, and the recurring friends of the show. Now we just have two queens gabbing about daily life.

But, in their defense, an hour on california pizza kitchen taking too long or getting a bloomingdale's cc application denied is very riveting.

I mean I hear ya but if I'm Jim and Sam I'm asking myself "do we want to do O&A numbers or try for something like Sway in the Morning numbers?" If they're as greedy as I would be I'd make it as cheesy as it needs to be to succeed.
