Opie, Jimmy, Anthony and sam suck in music sensibility. Anthony hates blues and jazz, while opie likes weird blues artists like that record company band. Jimmy of course wants Black Sabbath 24/7
Anybody watching Evolution Of Hip Hop on Netflix? It's fucking fantastic, but it abruptly ends at 4 episodes and I have no idea why. They're missing almost 20 years of music, like wtf. I don't even like rap that much but it was really well put together and pretty got damn interesting.
Didn't he grow up in NYC in a mostly black school in the 90's? I'm pretty sure he knows a good amount about Hip-Hop. I think Jim knows almost nothing about Hip-Hop.
Sam knows less about hip hop and more about top 40 music in general...which just happens to involve a good amount of mainstream hip hop. I guess I'm trying to say he doesn't go deep with the hip hop....maybe not all in.

Yes, undoubtedly. all sam ever talks about is kanye and he's aware of top 40 hits by drake, that's it. if it isn't pro wrestling, he's lost

Sam grades music by how popular it is not by how good it is. So all of his opinions are suspect even if they're good ones.

He didn't have much choice on the dating front until he became a famous radio broadcaster. Then he married the first white girl that talked to him.
