Responsible Gun Owner

I think this story of Anthony's was a bit for the radio. Even standard buckshot will punch right through boxes and sheetrock. Let alone any sort of rifle round. So would most pistol rounds. Hell, even a .22LR would (but maybe not after going through the computer). Birdshot, or .22 shorts, would have been more plausible. Unless he filled the boxes with sandbags, those bullets would have gone clean through his walls.

Although, you can buy AR's chambered in .22LR, so it is possible that Ant could have used that.

The other thing that struck me was that Ant didn't mention the pounding, deafening, ringing in his ears after firing any sort of firearm in a closed environment without hearing protection. Unless he had earplugs that he didn't mention, that ear-ringing would be a hell of a detail to forget.

Regarding his worry about the cops being called, gunshots from inside a home are often surprisingly quiet from outside the building. The sudden cracking sound waves bounce off the walls and furniture, which means it's even louder for the people inside, but for the people outside it might not be loud enough for concern. Couple this with the fact that most people don't really know what semi-automatic gunfire sounds like in real life (like insanely-loud firecrackers instead of the Hollywood "BOOM").

Okay, all done with my faggoty armchair forensics.

If he did do it, I'm sure he put some newspaper or something in those boxes. I don't think Ant is dumb enough to fire ar rounds through a somewhat hollow computer into hollow boxes.

Yeah I think Ant is full of shit, or retarded... "backed it with some boxes" wtf does that even mean. It's gonna go through the computer like butter, much less some cardboard or even wooden boxes. Theoretically he was using either 5.56 or .223 ammo (Almost the same bullet, most AR-15's can fire both without any reconfiguring of the gun whatsoever as long as it can handle the slightly more powerful 5.56).

Who knows though, with enough bud light fueling him maybe he did do it.

He said he went 'downstairs'. If he has a basement, maybe he just didn't give a shit about putting a bullet through the wall and the dirt outside? I know someone who got wasted and shot up his basement with a couple of rounds.

He has a finished basement. It is a relatively newish mcmansion type of setup so I am assuming all the outer walls are likely poured concrete or some type of cinder block. I'm not saying he couldn't have done it, I'm just saying that if he did it was pretty reckless, and his "put some boxes behind it to catch the bullets" idea is pretty shaky unless he said what was in them. I mean he could have had big tupperware containers filled with water, layered reams of paper, pressure treated 4x4's, or shredded old car tires, amongst other things. That however would require some premeditation and the way he described it sounded a little more "heat of the moment" anger induced.

You could be completely right though. Maybe he shot his place up a little bit then hired a schmuck to repair the walls and greased his palms a bit to not say anything, in true wop fashion. I'd just expect Anthony to be a little more aware of the risks of doing that, given his reasonable gun knowledge. Where his gun knowledge really fails is not the "physics" side typically, but the "geography" side - as in trying to find out where the fuck he put his gun.

I wonder if that gun was ever found by the police before it was taken from him. It's probably a bullshit story, but if you're rich and you're still employed by Sirius I could see putting a bullet through a wall in a, "fuck this wall, I can pay to have 20 of them rebuilt" fashion. I'm pretty sure Ant ownes a pair of them fancy earmuffs so that would take care of the noise.

I'm sure it was taken / surrendered. NYS is pretty anal about gun laws, so even if they don't have it (or anything else from his arsenal) connected to his name specifically, he would risk major real deal prison time if it was somehow found out that he still had it in his possession. It would be a completely retarded and unnecessary risk and even Ant isn't that gun crazy. Plus he lives in a pretty upscale suburban area (read: low crime).

As far as noise, yeah it is gonna be loud as fuck inside that room, Ant did mention that in his story. I'm guessing he already has some tinnitus from being in a band for years as well as working in radio, so it probably just kicked that up a notch or two on the scale.

Speaking of all this, doesn't ant have a court date soon that is supposed to bring a close to all of this legal stuff? I remember it being scheduled for early December IIRC. He said he's gonna spill his guts on his side of the story once all the legal proceedings are over, I wanna hear that, lies or not.

I always loved these little Cokelogic things. They were simple but they got the job done. Im glad he immortalized Spaceshu'l Endeavourrr with one.

I love how opie always reverts to cosmic black fucking hole mode whenever anthony mentioned anything about guns. Like a 15 year old california girl.

"wow maaahn like you really need help. you need help. I can't believe you don't let other men fuck your woman and drink soy milk and bitch tit cereal and yogurt like me."

This story was a lie just like him pushing a paparazzi's car with his escalade.

And not having sex with Sue Lightning.

I did see the paparazzi's car video. So your a lying, cock sucking fag as far as that goes.

That video was hilarious

Did you see the part where he pushed the car, or just just hear him yelling, you gullible retard?

I always believed that story. Maybe I'm just a gullible faggot.

You are.

Did the video ever turn up? That would prove or disprove it

think he really actually did this and was stupid enough to say it on the radio or just a bit he made up?

Bit. A shot gun or even a pistol would have been better. A 5.56 round is going right through "boxes", a mattress, the drywall, or anything else he put up, and right into the foundation or bricks.
