The show is great when they're just fuckin about and being dicks to each other... the guests are always fuckin awful... it really just feels like you're being advertised too.. I know the guests are there to promote but it rarely felt that way on O&A..
On O&A they managed to let guests find the shows rhythm, not the other way around. An "interview" only makes sense with someone like Harvey Weinstein or big figures. We dont need a discussion about the acting process with Emile Hirsch.
Pretty much. On o and a the guest would jump in on a conversation that was already going on in the room. Jim and and sam stop everything and start going through a mundane list of questions. They are way better without guests
Also, I don't know why they are not getting more comedian guests. People like Soder, Luis J Gomez, Nick Mullen, Kurt Metzger etc. should be regular's on the show. Not these shitty Hollywood actors.
Drive time radio shows expect you to only listen during the 30 to 60 minutes of your commute, not the entire show. Working men with lives and responsibilities don't have 15 hours a week to listen to radio.
