As much as people shit on the US office I actually really liked it because I'm a faggot. Rain Wilson made that show watchable..... I'm not disagreeing that it was raped either.
My biggest problem with The Office, other than it went on a few seasons too long and got shitty towards the end, is Jim and Pam. Mostly Jim. He was bearable when they were literally just copying Tim's story from the UK version and he was a relatable character. But then they turned him into the cool office guy and it sucked. Jon Krazinski didn't have nearly close to the ability to pull off what the writers envisioned Jim in their heads to be. The show just became about everyone acting like a clown and Jim doing goofy faces like "Can you believe I work here?"
I liked the first 5 seasons of the american office but the last episode of the original was probably the most masterful ending to a drama/comedy ive ever seen. The only thing thatlll make me tear up like a faggot every time. The american office went on and on with it, although it certainly had its moments. I also like dwight better than gareth
