Just remember: At a time when he was the most vulnerable after the divorce -and with a situation like that happening to him its hard to say that all women shouldn't be killed but you seriously cant think that way- when he was on the show to just do radio, be jovial and escape the problem for awhile...OPIE whipped out the destroyer in the most autistic way possible, pushing for jokes that weren't there or didnt work, which only indicated his declining social awareness more. It wasn't the time to push for jokes, and Flourentine wasn't offering it up either. He was near a breakdown, and Opie was dancing on top of him. Norton barely said anything because he was basically SPEECHLESS as it was happening. If anyone has the link to that audio, they should post it. But its the most audible example of bridge-burning I've ever heard (even though, surprisingly, no bridges were burnt).

I liked Opie and Anthony. His ineptitude is exactly what added the dynamic to a quick witted, loud mouth like Ant. I know what you mean though. - Sam's night show was good.
