Never played it but it's an RPG so that means you'll probably put a shit ton of hours into it. It's not a linear 10 hour campaign or whatever.
When I got Fallout 4 last year (RPG made by the same people that made Skyrim) my gf understood that she had to sit back and wait for me to put in at least 100 hours before I cared about her again.
Was one of the last games I played before getting out of gaming for the most part. Man, you can put literally days into a character if you wanted to. It all depends on how you like playing really.
