The plan was to develop new shows, which didn't really happen because their relationship fell apart, and then later Sirius refused to pay for anything.
Now? That contract is dead, and the channel reverts to Sirius. Sam and Jim's contract was for a show, not a channel. Which is probably better for them, less work, responsibility, and lets them grow their show without having to worry about anything outside of the show.
Best of all> They don't have mics branded with "Opie" anymore. I'd love to hear that Jim got all the Opie Radio flags out of the trash, and pissed on them in a garbage can, on air, while talking about channel updates.
