Although I currently like the show, youre completely right. I wish Jim focused more on keeping the show funny, in whatever way he decides, but I tune out during politics or other monotonous shit.
But considering how bad the 30 minutes they kept was, and the fact that I cant remember any other episodes having technical issues, it seems more likely that Nick deleted half of the appearance.
The way this sub carries on about this Cum Town pod, I didn't find him to be that amusing. In fairness, Jim and Sam were horrendously bad today, so can't put the blame solely on Nick..
Could just be me, but when Jim goes "you had technical difficulties that day" it came off like he knew it was a lie and wanted Nick to dig himself a hole while explaining, which he promptly did by saying "yeah we have issues on most of them, you'd think I would've figured it out by now"
I cant think of another episode off-hand that was cut short or "ruined" in some way due to technical issues.
They've lost the last part of an episode before, and the notes said it was because the SD Card got full because they forgot to move the last episode off of it. I would figure there would be a computer involved in recording somehow, but I don't know that much about podcast equipment because you can't get it into the city where I live.
I face the same troubles, cant podcast in my city.
I have some experience with SD cards though and that makes sense. Except I dont know what kind of device doesnt notify you right away when the cards full. I guess dassabesidedapointdoe

It seems like Nick and Jim are trying to like each other but just have no chemistry. I thought they were talking to each other through Sam today, while Jim did the minimum he'd do with any guest.
I didn't. I just became aware of cum town and will give it a listen tomorrow when I have a long flight. I liked Mullen today. He was funny and well informed. Although his living conditions make me want to puke.
