I will not listen to Opie's show in case this is a desperate ruse for "the numbahs", but I am ready for even a 50/50 chance that Opie is being pushed out.

He's already said on twitter he is staying until his contract is up after that who knows. He's following the Jimmy method of early "fuck this shit" after it got him the morning show.

Eventually he will just end up silently mouthing words to his phone somewhere in Central Park. I am ready for this to be a reality.

nah Sirius will keep him around but he's now just another show not 'the' main show on the channel. His name means his show will get longer than most but the clock is ticking and he'll know that.

i'd say there's zero chance he's getting fired or leaving. all the hubbub he's been putting out is over the changes with the channel and losing his name. everyone just assumes he's losing his show due to wishful thinking. he'll be there until october.
