What I do know for sure is the channel is no longer called OpieRadio. Its being suggested his show is done, but I'm not 100% sure. But having his name taken off the channel is pretty telling of how the company currently values ol Mammary Hughes.

My favorite rememberance of this incident is the fact that, when looked in context, Gail Bennington has had to start a couple shows by herself and didn't sound the least bit as intimidated as Opie was. Tits has been doing raqio almost as long as Gail has been alive. What a talentless hack who was gifted his money, on behalf of Ant and Big Jim Norton.
Gail also does voices in context to the conversation. Not because she's a nervous ninny who has no real point of view or opinion. While her criticisms (laughing at unfunny things) are valid, she is much better at continuing conversation and going all with the bit.
It's amazing how he has been in radio for 50 years and can't do a solo show for even 5 minutes. I don't think I've ever heard him just speak about a topic he cares about without someone's help, certainly not entertainingly. Ffs gavin mcinnes had no radio background and just naturally picked it up and can do 2 hour show alone.

There's no need to board op, because the only thing they do is turn the board on.
He's a complete fucking slacker. He acts like he can just show up, and radio gold will happen. He has no regard for the hours of work other people like Sam, Jimmy, Steve C, Stuntbrain and the rest of the crew/interns put in to carry his dullard ass.
Well, now he faces homelessness, because his trophy wife ain't gonna accept spinning classic rock in Utica, NY, and pull Bronx and Canarsie out of their private NYC schools. Oh no. She's starting to phase Opie out too, you know she is.
