They gave him an extra year at Sirius out of pity so he can line up his next thing. But he's so stupid he's gonna be scrambling at the end to get a podcast together and host a show in ManchVegas.
I'm guessing that he has been good with his money. If he's willing to take a change in lifestyle, he can live off of his money and hang out with Wease all day. His wife will leave him.
