Was listening to Stern and was the Ellis replay. He mentioned that he was staying with Sirius when it contract is up in about 8 months, but moving to talk radio.

Have I missed any other speculation on this?

Classic XM strategy. Take a channel away temporarily, then when everyone's gotten used to the new channel, never return it.

Did the format change? When I had SXM it was an awful Warped Tour bullshit music channel. "We can play ska, screamo and then Love The Way You Lie all in the same break! Fuck the rules, brotendo!" When did they change for the better?

I'd put my money on Opie leaving in October; from there they should move Ellis and Rude Jude onto the channel with Jim and Sam, and finally get a proper re-brand.
