I AGREE!!! I feel BAD after watching SCORCH because I know I will never be as SUCCESSFUL as him!!! He was NUMBER ONE in RADIO, LATE NIGHT, and FILM at the same TIME!!! HE would have BEEN the WWE CHAMPION too, but he BROKE his KNEE and lost his CONTRACT!!!
Minus Opie's occasional rants regarding "taking the fight to the coons and spooks on our own terms" I find his show to be a breath of fresh air in this crazy modern world of ours.
It needs even more of a visual element. Like maybe try writing the guest's name in sand and show video of it as they are entering the studio.
And it needs a better name. I'm thinking: The Aquarium
I know this sounds kind of gimmicky, but you could pipe in sounds of families enjoying the fish in the background. It could make for really good chemistreeeeeee.
I feel the reason the show has dipped in viewership isn't due to the quality but inconvenient time slot. You gotta catch the Panera employees on their way to the morning bake. 2am-5am is the sweet spot.
You can't always expect the brothamen to come to the Opster. You gotta bring the Opster to the brothamen.
Just bring back Anthony. Opie can't run a show by himself.

I can never make it past the first 5 seconds. Opie over the top "punching it up" with his screaming, desperately trying in his mind to "inject energy" into his shitshow because that's just "Radio 101" and he's "fighting for his life" now.
It's actually worse than I imagined it could be, and I can't believe that's even possible given how much I detest the cunt.
I like it much better when Sherrod isn't in there talking and yelling over the top of anybody that tries to speak. I have to turn it off when he is on and it's too bad because otherwise it's been pretty good
I know that the OP is "funposting" and we have fun hating Opie, but honestly, he's not that bad. Just compare him to some of the other garbage talk shows that Sirius has to offer. His show is still among the better ones, about in the upper 1/3 of all the talk content. He deserves a gig.
