Is it really that bad for Jewish people in other parts of the country? I live in the southern U.S. and the few Jewish people I've ever met aren't victims of hate crimes or even shitty comments. My dad knew a black man who moved to New York in the 60s and quickly moved back to LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS because he said everyone was shitty and racist up there. It was maybe 10 years after the racial integration crisis in Little Rock. He said when people found out he was from Arkansas they felt justified to treat him how they assumed he was used to being treated.
