Comedy has skewed off into this sad side road, where people are propped up by this GroupThink mentality; "everyone will accept what Im saying even if it's not funny; because Im right, and we're right." Yes, that works a fair amount of the time. But it's boring, flaccid, predictable, phony, pandering bullshit. It hasn't even been a week and I've heard ears full of it. I went to this mic last night in Santa Monica, the place where Kevin Pollak does his podcast. On Tues night the mic was cancelled because they were watching live election coverage. And we spent the whole mic back there making fun of every crying liberal fag and unfunny comic, and I made a bunch of new friends. United through hatred! Woo hoo!
