If Hillary wins, they'll jump on whatever insane conspiracy theory the Trumpfags are up in arms about. And Anthony possibly starts his show on Wednesday by standing on his desk and tying a noose around his neck.

Again, social media. That's where people garner their pre-vote stories. When the electorate voted it included a stark portion of society that doesn't use social media, isn't swayed by it, and vote based on life experience (mostly aged 45+). Couple that with the low income group and you will have the reason Brexit won. Rational thought saw it coming a mile off - hence the dramatic sale of the pound in the weeks prior to a sudden prolonged drop on results day.
If you live by what you read on social media then you'll continue to have a puerile view of politics.

What are you talking about? When they do polls, they don't base it on social media. The polls showed that Brexit would not happen. It had nothing to do with young people on social media. Even the bookies were completely wrong and lost a lot of money. Do the bookies not use rational thought?
The pound sold off due to uncertainty. Not because they knew which way the vote would go...

Where exactly do you think these places get their poll information from? Standing on the streets? Government regulated polls?
Bookies use the information they have. They are often wrong. The information they used was not a true reflection of the wishes of the electorate, therefore it was wrong.
Every person I know sold up in the weeks coming up to Brexit knowing that they could buy back in 2 days later for nominal cost. If we'd gone by social media, polls, or news coverage then we'd have lost out massively. We used rational thought instead and benefitted massively.
