The critics say it's as good as Saving Private Ryan, but they've said that about films that weren't very good at all. Like Fury, which was mediocre.
I'm actually surprised it isn't getting more hate from the cultural elites. Basically the consensus is 'yeah you Don't like Mel but he's a good filmmaker'
So I guess what I'm saying is I'll torrent it out of curiosity.
