I've literally never heard of anyone overdosing on Xanax so I looked around.
Some people have reported taking up to 2000 mg of Xanax, with only minor toxicity. This is more than 1000 times the maximum daily recommended dose, making Xanax a very safe medication when it’s taken alone. However, it is much easier to overdose on Xanax when it’s combined with other central nervous system depressants, such as opiates or alcohol.
"Other experiments in animals have indicated that cardiopulmonary collapse can occur following massive intravenous doses of alprazolam (over 195 mg/kg; 975 times the maximum recommended daily human dose of 10 mg/day)" - rxlist.com
975 times daily dosage.... That sounds absurdly high to me personally, but lets say it was 1/10th of that... it would mean 98 times the daily recommended dosage. All I am trying to say is who is their doctor I want his number.
