Can't even sleep I'm so excited. Christmas is going to come a little early this year :) First off, I'd like to say that I'm disappointed that the job didn't go to either Vic or Sherrod. Both are world class radio talents that have excelled beside Opie and have demonstrated their worth time and time again. Chris Distefano and Theo Von should have received strong consideration as well. I admit that I have no knowledge of this newly appointed co-host, but it's safe to say he's entering about the best situation imaginable beside a legend who's been in the business for 40 years. Like to think the Opester had some sway in this as well. Hope the new guy doesn't have too hard of a time with the Kenny teasing, he can tend to be a bit ruthless ;) Better make sure to stay on CSK's good side. Opie thrives in any situation, he adapts like a chameleon. However, he's at his strongest when he has a guy familiar with raqio who he can riff off of. The guy is like a human encyclopedia, and always with a hilarious anecdote to boot! Get someone in there permanently to establish a rapport with the Opester and essentially sit back while he takes the ball and runs with it. Smart move Sirius. Checkmate.
