I was watching some vintage porn on xvideos the other day and came across alot of crappy softcore porn, but it was the lamest softcore porn ever. They were like shitty movies. Surprisingly, they had a lot of comments for barely showing anything.
The first three seasons were good. The fourth was ok. The fifth and sixth season were awful. It was originally supposed to only be three seasons or so, but they ended up stretching it out after it got so popular, which caused it to start to suck. I don't think that will happen to this show. HBO is already planning on it being one of their big hits, and it's already more interesting than Lost.
The original is worth watching. It was written and directed by Michael Crichton, and was probably the basis for Jurassic Park later on (Amusement park goes bad, kills people.) For a pre-Star Wars movie, it's not bad - in 1973, it was cutting edge, of course now it's hopelessly dated. Plus, a lot of the stuff they're doing now, would have gotten them an X rating in 1973.
The only disapointment is they dropped the Rome and Middle Ages parks, that were part of the original - they could have done a season on each part of the park.
I like that they just focus on the western world. Makes it seem more realistic in a way. That said a Roman or medieval world would be cool to see. I read that there might be other worlds in future seasons, but they won't be Roman or medieval.
McPoyle becomes Ed Harris over the 30 years. As he said "you could say I was born here (in the park)". He was "reborn" from a white hat into a black hat. Ed Harris is his true nature.
For the record, I think its misdirection and they are on the same timelines.
There was a part in episode 2 where Harris said he was "born there" and that same episode Mcpoyles douches friend said he would make "the real him" come out. I thought it was an absolute lock, I thought he would end up switching hats by the end of his stay. But after episode 3 it actually looks like this theory is wrong
Ed Harris said he's been coming there for 30 years, probably paying a small fortune in the process, and only now he's trying to look behind the curtain, what a rube.
