The best answer I have is that Dice Used to be a regular on O&A. Slowly, he stopped appearing on the show.
Then, he popped up on Stern and Stern hinted that he hadn't been on the Stern show in a while. Dice then said he was told not to go on Stern because Opie would be upset. He then proceeded to trash Opie as a person and as a broadcaster for a solid 5+ minutes - all while praising Anthony.
The kicker to the story? Dice repeatedly said "Anthony is talented and can make it on his own" and Stern more or less agreed.
So, I don't think there's any love lost between Opie and Dice.
