When the aftershow was one hour after the show instead of two half hour blocks, it was really good. Staff drama and Erock bashings often bled over into the aftershow.

The Sam Roberts Show was pretty terrible, though. Solo shows rarely work.

i tried to listen to the pre show or whatever its called, it was fucking brutal, he was trying so hard to fill time, and the constant ona dick sucking made it worse, he kept saying oh boy oh boy we got a good show yesterday oh boy

Yeah, it got way worse once management or Opie tightened the leash and made it purely a clip show.

I mostly attribute the stink of SRS to it being a solo show.

In the few months after Ant's firing, I enjoyed Sam's weekly Friday show quite a bit, because he almost always had Whoo Kid and Nicole on as well.
