Knock it off with the go-to callers Sam. If youre going to take calls, dont play favorites like Opie did with his ball kissing callers.
Also I'd like to add that Sams better at taking calls than Opie in that Sam doesnt go to them as a crutch. He goes to them when theyre done talking about something where Opie would literally cut off the fun happening in-studio and shout "Jimmy in Boston, LETS GO!" as if the caller is the one ruining the flow.

I don't think he's playing favorites, it just doesn't seem like they get a ton of calls to choose from. Shane would call into the night show almost everyday, I think he's just a bored trucker with nothing better to do.

I'll never understand how people who hate Opie can also like Sam. Tits was pretty much grooming Sam to be the next unfunny, 'captain of the ship' broadcaster that he was. Obviously Sam isn't anywhere near as bad as Opie, but it's fucking close.

People hate Opie because of his inflated ego...he wouldn't get near as much hate if he was humbler, could take a joke, and didn't play the victim.
