I don't think it had ANYTHING to do with Anthony's politics. The people who run radio stations only care about making money. They will put Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck etc on the air if it will make them money. I think Opie didn't like his politics, because he thought it was alienating a large portion of their listeners. Which he probably was right. And I think that was part of the reason why Opie wanted to split up the shows.
