People listen to best ofs and compilations on YouTube and don't realise live shows aren't like that. It's not constant gold like the Patrice/CQ/Burr etc YouTube videos.
I like Sam, but he's incapable of carrying a show without Norton or someone with talent. This morning him discussing why he likes iPhone over Android was intensely boring and dull. Turned it off. Sorry, negroid.
You're definitely right, but the same goes for Ant and Jimmy to varying degrees, honestly. At least Sam is what Opie always told himself and everyone else he was: a good ship steerer.
I'll give it about a month before this entire board become a "hate site" for The Morning Jam.
Everyone keeps saying Sam works hard and deserves the show, but is he funny? Does he have even semi-interesting stories to tell? Does he even have knowledge about anything other than WWE Toys and awful reality tv? It's great that Sam isn't Opie but that doesn't make him good.
I like him. His night show was alright. And he's been alright so far. I think I'm too mellow for this sub sometimes. Fag, commit suicide, cuck, Donald trump.
Seriously though, Sam only seems alright right now because we're still getting over Opie's horseshit radio. Once the new-ness of the morning jam wears off, we'll start getting annoyed by how much of a weird fag Sam is.
Sam is not a very funny person but he's good at setting up other people to be funny and he's good at moving the show along. He's filling the same role he had on Special Delivery. The show needs someone like him, but he replaced Opie - he's not gonna make up for the fact that Ant is gone. I like the show and probably will for a long time, but I'm hoping we see some great comedian guests in frequently rather than Kelsey Cook to fill in that third chair and bounce of Jim.

Sam has always been a talentless broadcaster. He leads an uninteresting life so therefore has uninteresting stories, views, and opinions.
I will submit that he and Jim work well together and so far, the show has been mildly entertaining and I expect it to improve with time.

He does what Opie should have. He guides and embraces Norton. He knows how to play the straight man. He steers the ship.

I'm sure some people will hate Sam, I'm sure I hate him in some ways, but he is not Opie.
The only reason Opie got so much hate was because he was so bad so consistently.
