Is this all a work? I mean they talked so much about how building drama on a radio show with fake fights builds interest. Anyone else feel this is all just one big work?

I've thought about that, and if Opie wasn't the insecure mess he is, I would think it could be the case here. But Opie won't be able to deal with things if they escalate beyond where they are right now.

The problem is it's almost entirely one sided. If it was a work, maybe you'd have both of them being a little wrong and a little right, both of them hitting each other as hard, something like that. Instead, you have Sam and Jim really trying not to hit Opie and actually pumping him up through all of this and Opie coming off as delusional and 100% in the wrong. And his show sucks. There's no way he gains either viewers or support after this.
