very interesting. thank you. kubrick's exacting method is so fascinating, the guy has it all down to even the inflections in his characters voices. his indifference to shelly duvall's hair falling out was petty but, hey, wuddu i know.
also, ive almost forgot what life and people were like before the internet homogenised everything. its so strange.
No problem dude. Kubrick wasn't too thrilled with Shelly Duvall, at all. And it's amazing how similar Jack Torrance and Nicholson sound in real life. I think he really was a few screws loose, which is probably why he seems so natural at being crazy and a being a great actor in general.
