It's miles ahead of what Opie and Jim were doing, but I think Jim could be a lot funnier if he stepped out of his comfort zone a little bit. His shtick is wearing a bit thin with me after listening to the first three shows.
How is being an underemployed lawyer mindlessly entering data into a computer all day fucking up my own life? At least I have my friends on the radio..
It's more of a critique of Jim's humor than the structure or formatting of the show. I think he would be funnier as himself instead of doing his characters and "anti-humor" so frequently.
I think Jim needs to get a feel for Sam and his abilities because I think he is trying too hard to avoid "overexposing" Sam. But Sam's radio show proved Sam can carry his own.
I do think that they might need to have some more comics in to just help Jimmy feel like he has to do less.
The issues with Jimmy and Sam are more likely than not to be sorted out by them doing a radio show together.

Agreed...it's not our old Opie and Anthony with Jimmy but it's much better than OandJ.

Why are you upset over his unfunny jokes? That never gets old for me. There is a reason this has as much views as it does

It's the first week and they're saddled with opieradio guests. Give it a little time

Sam and Jim's schtick won't cut it. They need someone else.

Why do fans feel like they know what's best for everything? Just shut the fuck up and listen.
