For those of you who don't like 'Jim & Sam' and/or 'Opie Radio', what is it you want, exactly?

By which I mean, what kind of content do you want to see on these shows, since you're so dissatisfied with what you're hearing. What would satisfy you?

(I know this will result in a raft of barely literate, non-responsive answers larded with tired, age-old O&A/Norton references, but it's worth a try)

Oh god yeah. Not only that but when Ronnie b is grumpy he's so mean to everyone around him it makes the show tragically sad. Once you catch on to his mannerisms it's not stop sarcasm, lies, and humor.

Jim struggles without a funny person to go back and forth with. Needs a 3rd mic. Opie has never been funny so not sure what he could do differently. Also, all 3 seem to have lost their edge anyway. Jim isnt angry anymore, Ant is stuck on race and politica, and Opie has breasts.

Opie had breastesez even when the show had edge.

Loss of edge can be attributed to the company, which no doubt has a general proscription against 'edge,' now, for all the standard reasons. I wouldn't blame broadcasters for not doing what they can't do.

The company and current social climate is definitely partly to blame, but I dont care about the cherry darts or naked porn stars and all that stuff. I just mean the brutal humour of the show is gone. Jim mostly lost his hilarious meanness, Ant is a wannabe political pundit, and Opie is a boring old dad. They are in different places now. Most of the fans loved the angry humour, but that era seems to be gone.

I think realistically the best case scenario we can hope for would be Jim, Sam, and Dan Soder. I don't see Sirius ever allowing Ant back on its airwaves given how many pissy articles written by SJW would be sure to follow and at least Soder is a pretty funny guy who also does good impressions like Anthony with the ability to just riff with Jimmy while Sam "steers the ship" but without all the personality disorders of the Opester. Mourning Harambe with Dan was probably the best episode of any Jim and Sam show so far.

I found out about O&A from Tough Crowd. Both shows had the same basic appeal - funny, opinionated guys taking shots at each other and shooting the shit. I'll let you figure out what's missing.

I feel like Sam is too juvenile for such a gig. He's tolerable rather than likable imo. He doesn't come up with funny lines either, just humors Jim and sets him up. And if it must be The Jim and Sam Show then they need a 3rd mic like Ant. Even recruit a CQ or Soder or someone funny. Preferably Sam would become the 3rd mic though.
