Controversial Opinion: The O&A show was better without Jim Norton.

Pontificating Jimmy made the last couple years of O&A unbearable and Patrice/Burr/Voss/Quinn/Louis C.K routinely outperformed him.

Nah he (for a time) saved the show but weirdly some of the best shows were without him, especially when Patrice was there. I dont think Tequila and Donuts day, Slave Girl or the "Its Raining Men" (also with Patrice destroying a model) could have happened with him there. But those are the home runs, while he killed it on a regular basis and also saved the days when Opie was completely out of it and Anthony was hungover.

No O & A with Norton between 05 and 09 was the best.

I will say I'm still mad at the worm for bumping Norm Macdonald for some shitty wrestling guy.

Jimmy can absolutely be obnoxious sometimes. But when he gets on a roll, it's the funniest shit I've ever heard in my life.

People who listened in the earl wnew days. I def started listening in 2000 and remember a lot of shows without Norton and it was still great back then. Norton completed it though.

Same here. Started listening when they began on WNEW (1998/99). I always consider that classic O&A. It was a great show.
