While talking about the events following Ant's firing, Opie says: "When it was all going down, Sam came out and saw me, and he goes "While you're at it, you really should get rid of Jim Norton". (He then repeats this in a clarification to [dumb] Vos.)

What else could Sam have meant, if not "While you're firing people, you might as well fire Jimmy too"?
