Anthony truly thinks he should not have been fired
0 2016-10-05 by little-pete-ferguson
He absolutely should have lost his job in a billion dollar media empire
A rube working the fryalator at McD's would get fired for this
I understand him not wanting to apologize for the tirade but it was his own fault
May not seem relavent 2 x years later, but was just listening to the reunion chat

A 30 day suspension would have been all that is needed for it to blow over.

Nah it could have easily been a suspension, if Opie refused to come in without Ant they would do like 6 months suspension for news to die down and came back on air.
Don't you remember Nappy headed hoes? That shit made more news than Ant ever made in his life.

Imus got fired for that. And that was even after he apologized in person to the said nappy headed hoes.

Yea he got fired in April 2007 and was back on air in November 2007 and that story involved a civil suit and much more media attention than Ant.
If Opie walked together with Ant like Clarkson, its possible they would be back on air after 6 months suspension. I am sure Ant would apologize 100% if it was possible to save the job.

And he had to blow Sharpton if I remember

Imus was off the air for less than 6 months and he probably got a better deal out of it with all the attention.

The apology helped Imus get back into a job quicker for sure
Anthony could not apologise due to his fan base- I just think he needs to take responsibly for being a dummy on that night

he certainly fucked up but I think if Opie was willing to walk Sirius would let Ant stay.

And the little voice in the back of his mind yelling "Suit up boys!"

Yup, I get ya- I forgot we're the only ones that listened to the show. It made zero news

I don't know. Ant may be a piece of shit, but Sirius are despicable. Besides, how many times on air did Ant rant and scream the most 'racist' shit ever about blacks and directly at them? Yet nothing came of it. The fraudulence and inconsistency of these Jews sickens me.

It's a better story without all the preamble

Some people are woefully unaware why.

You know why a fryalator would be fired? Zero impact on the bottom line. It was a mistake on SiriusXM's part to fire him without fully understanding the financial impact of tearing apart a successful radio brand.

He was a rube working as a "shock jock' though and traditionally they are known for controversy
2 MacReadys_Hat_ 2016-10-05
How about no.... huh?
No one should get fired for that shit

Its a totally moral question there isnt one right answer. Sirius totally caved to the sjw equivalent of this sub though. Ant went on way worse race rants on the air and wasnt fired. Ofc he doesnt feel he shouldve been fired. Its not like he was fired and his racism was cured. It just got worse

I kinda was hoping he wouldn't have said that. He should of said he should have apologized whether he thought he was right or wrong just to try and get back. I think they could still do a really good show together.
