Let me start off by saying: Anthony is a terrible person. He was (?) a drunk that had a ghoulish obsession with exceptionally young girls. One of those relationships ended with physical violence and an arrest.

Jimmy also has his demons. Drugs, trannies, odd sexual proclivities, monster rain, etc.

But, through it all, neither of them were intentionally awful people. By all accounts, everyone likes them. They are generous with their time and money and have helped countless others. Their demons sidetrack them - but do not make them bad people.

Opie is just an evil shit. He fancies himself a puppet master. He manipulates people, pits them against each other and outright trashes them to their face. He is a malicious sociopath. He will lie to your face, cry to gain your sympathy and feign ignorance to avoid dealing with issues.

Opie is the human garbage. He is an evil manipulator that will do anything (and step on anyone) to further himself.
