No it isn't. Opie is a socially retarded, sociopathic douche and Jim has had to talk to him 5 days a week for 14 years. Opie is in a state of vs with everyone that has worked with him in the past. He's that shitty.
and hes mad jim signed "so fast and without telling him" because he wanted to try and get something done. my guess is where they wouldn't be on the same station.
Probably not. Jim and Opie just don't want to do a show anymore. They both got what they wanted. Jim got the mornings with Sam and most of the other people he wanted. Opie gets his afternoon show along with the designed replays he wanted and most likely a new co-host.
You could feel the animosity and lack of chemistry between the two of them. I doubt it probably extends that much on a personal level it was more so just a toxic work environment. In 6 months the "War" will be pretty much over as they both appear on each others show as a sign of good will or some bullshit.
I think you're probably right. While I think this whole dispute right now is real, I could see it escalating, and that could possibly be a bit. Not necessarily worked out between them beforehand, but both parties just upping the ante with harsh comments, but never really truly going for the throat. Of course, Opie may not actually be able to successfully pull that off, even though it would definitely make people listen.
Not a bit, but not serious enough to get Sirius's attention. Right now, Sirius sees it, but it's mild infighting, and it's probably the only interesting thing to come out of the Opie and Jimmy partnership in the last 2 years. So they'll allow it.
I'm sure if they really started going at each other Sirius will stop it.
Could be. They're really only saying what fans already say. It's not like they're dropping humiliating insider knowledge bombs on each other. Seems more like what they'd feel safe saying for public consumption at a roast
not talented enough to come up with this bit - but, at some point in the near future when Opie is taken enough punishment, he will claim it was all a bit
Opie is right, Jim went behind his back and negotiated a deal with management, pretty much blindsiding the guy responsible for all the success he's had. Opie has a reason to be upset, Jim is just being immature.
Opie would have been an unknown jock spinning records in Boston/Philly if not for Ant, and eventually Jimmy. It was a mutually beneficial relationship, until 2 of the 3 were eventually doing all the heavy lifting and carrying the show, while the other one resented them and sulked like a baby.

We know the extent of Jimmy's acting ability. This is not a bit.

they are on the same station? I thought that Jim and Sam's show was overlapping with Opie's replay?

Sometimes it is just as simple as a work dispute.

It's hard being as stupid as he is.

Management sees the potential for a war, or at least a cold war, little shots at each other and responses, etc.
Greenjew is in his office yanking his cock at the drama this caused, they did this shit on purpose.
Management loves the new direction.

If it's a bit then Ant's firing is also a bit, and also Ant and Opie hating each other, and also Fez's homosexuality and depression.

No, but they are still on the same channel which according to the SXM website is still called Opieraqio...

Opie is doing all this to generate buzz for his new show. Jimmy is just responding in the only logical possible way

So did they start plotting it in December?

Jim works for Opie. Do what the boss says Jim.
