It wasn't funny because it's on SNL, but she goes to pete whats his face playing mr robot to find out who stole 'her nasties.' The brunt of the joke being she accidentally did it herself.
I mean that's some sack, you have to admit. These fragile hunks spent all last week posting cryptic videos and crying on the radio.

But she was only hired because Chris Rock guilted Lorne Michaels into hiring her, so she's supposedly hardly on the show beyond some character she does on Weekend Update from what I've heard. But it's hard to write a gorilla into a comedy sketch, so I don't blame SNL.

You said she is doing movies and SNL. I used them as an example it's hard when you have a contract committing you to 9 months of television. Even low level cast members like David Spade and Molly Shannon left because they only had 3 months a year to do one movie. And Shannon got less work than Harambe will.

Yes. My point was if Hollywood wants her so bad she is wasting her time on SNL. She can't do both. She would probably get the work level David Spade did for a while, and he quit after Tommy Boy or whatever he did.

Eh, SNL really isn't putting in the effort to write for the gorilla. SNL alum Al Franken managed to do a scene with a gorilla in Trading Places. So hard can it really be? Aaron Berg does a gorilla skit every week on In Hot Water.
