If you start out having two cupcakes, and then have two guests, and give one cupcake to a friend and throw the other one away because you're no longer hungry and the other guest is black, you still just have one cupcake.
We had a just out of the freezer Fudgie whale ice cream cake from Carvel all to ourselves. Now we have a 40 minutes melting cake clumped in a pile on flimsy paper plates. It's not the same, never will be.
