The man is knowledgeable on nearly every subject and is a gifted and celebrated comedian in his own right. Who but Sam would even be considered? I'd say almost 100% Jim and Sam. Opie will probably ended up with Mars, Paul, and Erock in the afternoon. and the morning show gets Sam's guys (Adrian and D-Bag).
Mars is probably a 9-5 engineer. He's not tethered to a particular show. Howard gets dedicated resources like engineers and bookers, but Opie & * isn't big enough to warrant that.
you could be right about Mars. I assume the channel as a whole gets the resources (Roland booking, Mars/Louis (racewars, MWHM, etc.) engineering) to use to their discretion.
You might also be right about the channel. I know Mars has helped with the phones on Ron & Fez a time or two. Roland might be dedicated to Opie's show, particularly since O&A seemingly had a hand in getting him re-hired to SiriusXM years ago.
Fez used to personally book the R&F show, now I assume Chris Stanley & Gail handle it.
Any idea of what the replay situation will be? Being from the West Coast, these new timeslots make me wonder if I'm now shoehorned into mostly Opie time... Fuuuck me....
