I think the best thing about this whole thing is that Opie is so beneath Howard that Howard will never even mention it.

You have to figure that drives opie more crazy than anything.,

Opie always fancied himself on the same level as Stern. Instead of being happy with the success that O&A enjoyed, which is a level of success that most radio guys would kill to have, Opie obsessed with being on par with Stern. What a putz.

It's the Dave Mustaine mentality. These types of assholes aren't happy unless they're more loved and recognized than everyone else.

it's the (insert name of conservative to virtue signal to other liberal faggots here) "mentality," which is a phrase I use to appear smart, but I'm really just a pedestrian retard

What the fuck are you talking about? Mustaine is infamous for his inferiority complex. Not every criticism of a conservative person is an attack on conservative values, you easily triggered faggot.

Or just someone familiar with the one-sided rivalry that is Megadeth vs. Metallica ...

You don't care for liberals?

No, they can take a walk.

This is the bitterness he had when he first got on xm and he never grew out of it. He should have just stuck to stealing instant feedback lines.

you know howard is sitting back laughing...but will never acknowledge it on air.

you know that all of the hallway closings will stop on monday and Jimmy will point it out right away lol.

And thats really the brilliance of him. The idea that he can bother this sociopath so much by just not mentioning it.

Oh and another thing, you know the sociopath had it in his head that he was howard's replacement when howard finally retired. Howard is still on radio and the opester is not.

I feel like it is unhealthy how much I'm enjoying this.

And this after narrowly getting beat out by Fallon for the Tonight Show gig, poor guy can't catch a break

Not a Howard fan, but the story of him shutting down the entire floor's elevator use just so Opie wouldn't come into his field of vision makes me like him a little more.

Howard is famous for severing 'his' people if he thinks they've betrayed him, so maybe Anthony falls into that category since he made his broadcasting debut on Stern.

Still, I'd be willing to bet that Opie was the main reason for Stern's hostility to O&A. Just the temerity of that loathsome little college radio cunt trying to have a war with him.

Ant didn't make his broadcasting debut on Stern.

I thought he did, singing his wacky OJ parody song for Howard's listeners, maybe even with BloJoe in tow.

Who broadcast Ant before that?

The first and only time I can remember him in studio is for the Jackie contest. Did he play his OJ song for Howard? If so, you may be right.

You're probably right. But that would still mean Howard was the first to get Ant on the radio. That's what I meant by "broadcasting debut", that Howard gave him his first break, not Ant's first chance to have a mic of his own.

No, during the Jackie contest, Howard asked him what he did, and he said he was on the radio, and even plugged O&A, saying they both loved Howard's show.

Huh, you're right. I was getting confused by Anthony's first appearance on Opie's Nighttime Tittytude.

stern does a show about adopting kittens now. If it was 10 years ago, he would bring it up.
