It was a perfect example though how Sam and Jimmy can successfully work with each other. They made this douchebag call funny and had some great lines during it. Not to be too queer but it was a moment of spontaneity that I have missed on this show since Ant left. I laughed a few times at their responses to this asshat. Opie would have wait wait wait wait ruined the whole thing, Jim and Sam went with it and made it funny.
Jimmy's "Howard would never treat me this way" was funny as fuck, perfect timing. Sam saying, "wait sir I think you have a point don't give in so easy".... showed me that Sam knows funny and how to run with it. You're right. I hope they keep these two together.
But Jim HAS been on Howie's show several times. Yes, the denials were of a humorous nature and yes Shawn from Indiana was made to look quite the fool but Jim's appearances are there forever on YouTube
