It's a bitch thing to say. It's what people who are trying to work themselves up say. If you're actually angry you just react angrily; be it yelling, saying vicious shit or hitting out. Only cunts say things like "now I'm really pissed". He should have thrown in a "buster" there for good measure.
It doesn't even bother me that he's playing the victim. It helps me better visualize the picture of Sam & Jim stepping on his neck, kicking his tits and screaming "You lost, faggot!"
This is so much better after what's happened this week.

J: But you don't even send me a text to let me know that certain other things have happened.
O: I... I...
J: I gotta read 'em in the paper???
O: Yeah, ya do at this point. Sadly, yeah.
J: Like, why?
O: Because I never felt like I could talk to you
J: You don't feel like you could trust me
O: Not anymore, we used to. We used to be really close. And we used to talk alot, and stuff, I felt like it got to a point where yeah, I couldn't really talk to you about that stuff anymore.
Pretty sure ant brought it up as Ben sparks and that he turned up at ant's launch party for the NY studio. Unawares to ant. Ant said he wasn't invited but turned up as a plus one. It got back to Opie he turned up. Hence his friends... club soda Kenny ??? This was while Opie was in the process of getting a restraining order against him which was in the press at the time. You know how opies mind works. The slightest whiff of anything he perceives as against him he goes full paranoia lock down.
Opie did the same thing to Anthony during the notorious "grape incident". Opester says he's done, he's gonna leave and do his own thing. He said it to jimmy during this fight and even asked him "why are you here then? Why don't you just leave?"
So Jimmy leaves. Opie got his wish! YAY.
NOOO! Opie was boogy boarding and having fun then a wave paralyzed him and since his head could no longer swivel, the sharks ate him.
Edit: (listening to this in hindsight, wow Opie started every fight by taking a jab. Then he immediately recoils into the victim position.)
can i just say i really fucking hate when people use headphones that are all tangled up like Opie in that picture. it's like walking out of the bathroom with your pants around your ankles still, come on man.
This is what I've been saying for the past week. Opie very intentionally tried to fuck jimmy. Jim is too trusting to recognise it fully, so he gives opie the benefit of the doubt. But the fact is opie tried to fuck his friend over, who he owes a lot of his success to, and then threw a fit in an aquarium when Sirius finally woke up and sniffed him out for the fraud that he's become. Makes me furious on behalf of jimmy.
The more that comes out about him, the more it's apparent that opie has or has tried to fuck over everyone he has worked with at some point or another. Opie was absolutely trying to take Jim out, just like everyone else.
I think Gregg doesn't have a mental illness. It's clearly a personality disorder. It seems like extreme narcissism on the surface, but it's so obvious it's all an act to cover his crippling insecurities. Dice fucking nailed it when he was describing Gregg to Howard Stern.
I think it was partly this and his impression that he wasn't respected when he didn't want DL Hugley on and was told to go to something else during the interview most recently.
Yea good call. Opie completely misplayed this situation. He thought he had all the leverage with Sirius and could dictate what was going to happen with everyone. In the end, he was left out, with ZERO influence on how Sirius was going to proceed with the channel.
I feel like this has to have been planned. The gaping deathly silences broken by awkward noises/coughs. It's almost like watching the UK version of the office. Palpable cringe. But the way it has all played out in the last day or two I'm not so sure. Either Opie, Ant & Jim are masterminds and the whole chain of events from Ant's firing was masterminded to maximise listeners/drive up ad revenue, or all this drama is the result of hugely successful guys fucking up and throwing it all away.
I think that's why I love this stuff so much, it's pure and concentrated cringe -- what made the Office so good. Except it's real, which of course makes it all the more entertaining!
It's the latter. And to be honest Ant fucked it up first, but Opie's weird personality has been an issue since all three of them started doing radio together.

"Now I'm really pissed" I fucking hate people that say shit like this. Amy Schumer doesn't deserve half the shit Opie does.

It's like he's practicing how not to be passive aggressive. He has to work up the nerve to actually communicate.

Yes, she does. For some similar and some differing reasons, but it all boils down to them both being phony cunts.

What is he talking about that he had to read in the paper?
4 Doctor_Peckhaz 2016-09-29
He's talking about how the former producer Ben got arrested for making Titty boy cry by allegedly harassing him via texts.
3 Chris_Benoit_Daycare 2016-09-29
Or maybe about the Ben Sparks stalking.

Possibly the Stangels coming aboard? Maybe that had been a while before but it was still a 'fuck you' to the staff to bring those dummies in.
1 philtheprince 2016-09-29
I suspect Ant was against it too.

This week is only better with the sweet knowledge that Opie has gotten his comeuppance.
