What's the endgame, Opie?

Clearly he wanted to be a radio version of Jimmy Fallon: bring on some celebrity guests, setup some goofy gags with the comedy veteran (((Stangel Bros)))), record some in-studio bits that would go viral, and become admired in the greater pop culture as a subversive and funny laff master from satellite radio and YouTube.

Instead, the last 2 years (TWO WHOLE YEARS WHERE HE FINALLY GOT HIS WISH AND WAS IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING) laid bare the fact that he's not a naturally funny person and he's moody as fuck. He showed that's he's lazy, uncreative, a poor manager, and can't make personal connections with people. And he's old now.

Do you think the next go-around will be the one that sticks this time, Opie? Or was this all "part of the bit"?

Should've taken the five year contract, Marshmallow Boy.

I don't know, but as I hear he's been in raqio since he was around 18 or so. I can't imagine he could be in the industry that long and not have some kind of clever plan in mind.

The guy can't even be bothered to think before he speaks (watch his extemporaneous speech skills in the "make it rain money somewhere in Manhattan" video), let alone plan a career. This dude literally made his own show and his hand-picked producers left before the contract was even up

He knows what he's doing. He's been doing this a long FWAUKIN time.

He's nowhere near talented for a morning zoo type of radio like that. He hasn't even got the looks of someone like Seacrest. His diction is horrible, his voice is beat up, and he can't fucking live read. Quips? One liners? Nope...
