Meh, I've seen crazier things happen. Here are some reasons why Anthony could (one day, maybe) return to SXM:
1) The site that ran a witch hunt against him is bankrupt/defunct.
2) There was no real outrage against him. A few people here and there were pissed - but it all blew over rather quickly.
3) He still has several close connections at SXM. Sam, Jim and Travis all like him. ERock tolerates him.
4) He went to rehab and "cured" himself. So, he could always point to that and say that he addressed his problems. The public would be obligated to give him a second chance.
Is it likely? Probably not. But it is a much better possibility now (after Opie left) than it ever was at any point in the last two years.
Beeeeeeecause him not being let back into the building was something that Opie probably negotiated into his October 2014 contract and not something that SiriusXM made a policy on their own.
Anthony totally would have a chance at a return to Sirius. The general public have a short attention span and lets face it the rest of the world really doesnt care what Anthony has done in the past. The only people who seem to really hold on to old shit is people on this sub. and as strange as it is they are also his supporters.
America is about second chances. Anthony Cumia has acknowledged his demons and completed rehab a new man fixed on redemption. He was a victim of the affliction of chronic alcoholism, but he has emerged from the flames like a firey Phoenix. He also conquered his yearnings to fornicate with women of questionable gender. He is the hero of our times.
