When Sirius took over, they were limited to plugging once per appearance, and the money sucked. I know Bobby and Patrice made comments on how little it was - and why Patrice cohosted, because it paid more.

And, don't forget - it's not O&A anymore. Opie and Jim barely made it through it's short life. Do you really think comics will get up at 4am for a show nobody listened to?

Even BEFORE the FIRING the show ended up as another SHOW for quick plugs, like COSMO RADIO or MASHUP. Stars would do HOWARD and then walk around the BUILDING joining lesser shows for 2 minutes of PLUGGING some project before being whisked to next SMALL AUDIENCE program.

"O&A" was able to get funny GUESTS when comedians were SMALL and looking for any airtime. Every one JIMMY came up with OUTGREW the show!!! The only PEOPLE left as regular guests were BOB LEVY (didya hear his GREAT running gag about DI being a MAN?!), COLIN KANE, and VIC HENLEY!!
