Just tuned in and heard Norton and Normand laughing and exchanging jokes. I waited for about 30 seconds and heard no shoehorning in of irrelevant unfunny bullshit, and realized that Opie was not in. Show seems pretty decent so far, it is amazing how removing Opie from his own show improves it by a factor of at least 7.

I can't help but think that his entire persona is lifted from Norm Macdonald. "Ahhhhh yeahhhh" It's hard to duplicate through text, but his voice and inflections are exactly the same. He is obviously more gifted than someone like Destefano, but I find him unlistenable.
And his shitty fake radio voice and unnecessary overreactions are being exposed this morning. Jim is attempting to have a normal discussion and has to deal with responses from a bad morning zoo hack voice incapable of a real conversation. I'm surprised he doesn't have a non-sarcastic wacky horn.
He's always said he's worried about going out the states and failing. But you can tell his state of mind is different now since he's come back. Which is good for jimmy. I think he would do ok over here in the UK and he did ok in OZ.
So i can see him doing more stand up outside the states. Which would of course impact him doing the show.
I have severe apnea and use a bipap machine. It's truly a lifesaver. I never whine about it because the alternative is an awful, oxygen deprived, life shortening slumber. Jimmy needs to put the damned mask on every night and shut up.
I tried listening to the Shep Gordon interview, but either he was too far away from his mic or they had his levels too low because I had to turn my radio up super loud to hear him, and then my speakers would rattle when Normand or Jim would interject.
So that car has a huge engine right? I would be a problem if I had an engine that big. Must feel good to know that a guy cant just walk up and steal your girl without you racing him.
It wouldn't necessarily make for great radio, but I would surely LAWF if Opie gets ousted from his own channel and Jim is the only remaining one at SiriusXM.
