Howard needs to have Artie back on before he retires. It'd be a really selfish sssssscumbag thing not to do, for the fans, for Artie, and for himself in the end period.
At best Artie will get to come on as a guest for one of the last shows. The whole point being so Howard can very publicly make up with Artie and patch things up so the fan base will leave him alone.
I don't think Howard cares much anymore. He has a lot of things going on like adopting more cats and keeping Beth occupied. Along with carrying Ralph. Geno is working for Ant now. Maybe Artie will join Compound media too. Technically, Artie's podcasts couldn't any worse with Anthony than they are now.
Clearly, he's saying look howard ... Your former right hand man is doing your enemy's show. Also Howard said he doesn't have comics on yet he just had norm on so howards hypocrisy or oddness is very fresh in arties mind right now.... Basically arties triggered
Isn't norm the reason Artie got onto stern? I think norm brought him when he was a guest and Howard didn't know him, so he has always had comics on and more so norm who is funniest guest ever
Legitimately the only time I ever had to pull the car over from laughing/crying was Norm and Artie telling Bob Uecker stories on Howard. "Drysdale knew Sinatra!" I was HOWLING.
Cause he's not a pampered baby like Jimmy. He's blown off jobs plenty of times before. He wouldn't put up with Opie for a paycheck like Jimmy or Ant did.

Say what you want about louis ck, but I have so much more respect for him for not being on twitter and acting like these little school girls

I feel like Howard is beyond having honest radio now. He's basically in the Darth Vader phase of his career, though hes less funny.

I don't disagree with that, but I still hope it happens. Doubt it though, unfortunately.

Then never speak to Artie again.

Artie goes back and forth between taking shots at Howard and kissing his ass. Sometimes within the same day. Typical up and down junkie behavior.

Artie is the man.

He's very likeable and relatable. Happy to listen to him tell stories anytime.

Yes he is. Nobody makes me laugh harder than Artie.

He made both O&J and The Anthony Cumia Show listenable last week.
No small feat, that.

Opie is going heavy on the Artie ass kissing. I wonder if he thinks he can get him to replace Norton in October?
12 UpInSmoke1 2016-09-19
I don't think sirius would go for that.

I don't think Artie would put up with Opie's shit. He's an ex-heroin addict. Not having a paycheck wouldn't scare him into walking on greggshells.
2 ashakahdhalshf 2016-09-19
I am confused how those two things connect. He used heroin and collected paycheques for years.

When opie kissed arties ass last appearance it made me wonder at the possibility of an artie and opie show
2 joomommyhappy 2016-09-19
Content-wise, it's the only thing that would save Opie's show, but Artie is way too unreliable to hold down a steady gig.
He can't even do his own podcast half the time, and he does that from his apartment, and usually by himself.
Tits actually tried to get Artie to do a show for his chaqqel, but the deal "fell through" (makes drugs gesture).
1 JeffDenlon 2016-09-19
Sirius wouldn't go for that I'm guessing. Plus Artie's asking price is probably way too high.

I love Artie but just let it go man. Stern is a sociopathic Jew, he wouldn't care if you died tomorrow.
3 PhiWeaver 2016-09-19
I can't listen to Artie anymore because I've heard all of his stories at least 9 times over.
i.e Doing a gig at Bob Kraft's house ..etc
"Did I tell you this one time I had to Sheetrock my bookie's kitchen ...hehehe *weeeez *cough"

The Ope tagged The Stern anyway

Howard did mention being "friends" with Jackie today. I think eventually he will have him on and eventually Art

When did the Stern Show start getting good again?
Cause I remember a couple years ago Howard had completely neutered it, and became a giant vagina.
